- Knowledge: The event is physically and mentally challenging, requiring you to reach deep within yourself, with moments of intense introspection. Pushing yourself to your physical limits (and beyond), teaches profound lessons and provides a rare glimpse of nobility.
- Relationships: 20-hours of walking builds camaraderie. With that much time to talk and philosophize, conversations span a broad range of topics. Friendships are created that are deep and meaningful. Start in Provo as a loose band of acquaintances; end in Salt Lake as a unified band of brothers and sisters.
- Experiences: Very few attempt this challenge – even fewer complete it. Bragging rights are on the line. Those who participate have a new found respect for pioneers, refugees and others who have walked long distances. The experience is transformational and life changing.
