Why Participate?

More than a physical challenge. More than a fundraiser. WalkFifty is an opportunity to build on three important tenants: knowledge, relationships and experiences.
Knowledge

Knowledge

The event is physically and mentally challenging, requiring you to reach deep within yourself, with moments of intense introspection. Pushing yourself to your physical limits (and beyond), teaches profound lessons and provides a rare glimpse of nobility.

Relationships

Relationships

Twenty hours of walking builds camaraderie. With that much time to talk, conversations span a broad range of topics. Deep and meaningful friendships are created. Start as a loose band of acquaintances, end as a unified band of brothers and sisters.

Experiences

Experiences

Very few attempt this challenge – even fewer complete it. Bragging rights are on the line. Those who participate have a new found respect for pioneers, refugees and others who have walked long distances. The experience is transformational and life changing.

 About

About

A Beautiful Test of the Human Spirit.

Walkfifty is an annual 50-mile/20-hour walk from Provo to Salt Lake City, Utah. (NOTE: There will be a route change for 2018. Stay tuned...) The event started simply as a personal challenge for Bryan Miller, and has since become a fully supported charitable fundraiser with more than a half-dozen rest stops and several mobile support vehicles. The event is open to anyone up for a transformational journey that is both mental and physical. More than just a charity event, WalkFifty creates an opportunity to build on the three tenants of:
