WalkFifty 2017 is exactly one month out!
I hope you have September 9 circled on your calendar. As always, this event will be a challenging, rewarding, transformative adventure.
It’s been fun watching many of you on Facebook, out there putting in miles and building camaraderie. And if you haven’t rolled off your couch since last year’s walk, that’s okay too. You have a month to prepare your mind and body. As promised, you’re in for A Beautiful Test of the Human Spirit.
With one month to go, I ask that you please do the following:
Even if you’ve participated in the past or have given me a verbal commitment that you’re coming, we need you to go online and register. This will help greatly in planning the support during your walk. Registering in advance is also the only way we can guarantee that you will receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
Remember, the suggested fee is $100 but you may name your own price. Proceeds are donated to 100% of Humanity, a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
If you know of anyone who may want to participate, please forward this link: http://walkfifty.com/registration/
Encourage your friends or loved ones to come support you and the other participants. With twenty hours of walking ahead of you, the volunteer support crew is crucial to your success. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer, please fill out the online form.

Thanks everyone! Feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns. Keep walking and see you soon!
